World Holstein Conference     2012 World Holstein Conference
The World Holstein-Friesian Federation (WHFF) was formed to promote the Holstein breed. The objectives are to harmonize technical procedures around the globe, provide assistance to emerging herdbook societies, and faciliate the exchange of information and knowledge by means of a world conference held every four years. The first was held in 1964 in the Netherlands.
The 13 World Conference will be held in Canada from November 1-10, 2012. The Conference will be attended by dairy industry leaders around the globe including presidents and CEO's of sister Holstein breed associations and prominent, progressive Canadian and international Holstein breeders.
For the first time, a World Holstein Youth Conference will be planned as an integral part of the overall program. The Youth Conference is open to Holstein enthusiasts aged 19-30.
